Domestic Gas Engineer | Leeds | Full Time | £28,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.

Our client is a privately owned limited company formed in 1991. Built on a firm foundation of traditional gas heating maintenance and installation, the company offers a diverse range of products and services in space heating and thermal comfort.

You should be competent in delivering gas safety inspections and completing boiler/system replacements. You will have the ability to diagnose faults in an efficient manner to restore heating and hot water, and achieving a high first-time fix rate, would also be an advantage.

You will also have access to additional in-house Technical Support to achieve this.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Appropriate ACS qualification with a minimum of CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current legislation, Building Control and Gas Safe requirements
  • Health and Safety certification (Formal training will be provided if not already attained)
  • Full driving license
  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team
  • Be reliable and punctual to ensure our customers receive a good service

Desirable

  • Strong diagnostic experience
  • Central heating installation experience
  • Part P / Electrical testing experience
  • S/Y Plan awareness
  • CSCS Card or equivalent

What will your role as a Domestic Gas Engineer look like?

  • Covering installation and maintenance of domestic heating and plumbing systems
  • Completion of all necessary service/installation documentation and submission to office in a timely manner
  • Servicing on systems as instructed
  • Maintaining job records to allow for tight monitoring of costs, and to ensure that clients are kept fully informed at all times
  • Ensure all tools and test equipment are properly maintained
