CNC Machinist required to join a well-established Manufacturing company that is based in the Swadlincote area and specialise in conveying & specialist handling equipment for the food, beverage & pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will be manufacturing various machine components such as shafts, brackets, spacers and precision assemblies. CNC Machinist Position Overview Programming Setting and Operating Milling and 2-axis turning centre lathe work, predominately using stainless steel Reporting any production issues through to the Production Management Maintain a clean and safe work environment CNC Machinist Position Requirements At least five years’ experience working with and programming CNC lathes and milling machines. Hurco TM8 Lathe & VM10 Milling machine experience preferred but not essential. Be able to machine one-off prototype components. Be confident working with tight tolerances. Experience working with various materials, predominately stainless steel. Be able to read and understand engineering drawings. The ability to work well as part of a team but also be able to work well under own initiative.
