Job OverviewAn exciting clinical leadership post has become available within Digital Services at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, providing the opportunity for an individual to help shape the future of digitally enabled care in Somerset. Digital Services are looking for an experienced, innovative, and enthusiastic clinical leader to support the delivery of digitally enabled clinical transformation across the organisation.The Clinical Team Lead will work directly with clinical teams across the Trust, providing a key link between frontline clinical care and digital services teams, including the established digital clinical team, technical teams, suppliers and external NHS bodies. The successful candidate will be expected to lead clinical engagement across the Trust for a wide range of clinically focused projects, utilising their clinical knowledge and leadership skills to support and guide effective clinical transformation enabled by digital solutions and engaged, empowered frontline teams.This opportunity to help shape and lead our nationally recognised digital programme is open to any individual that feels they have the knowledge and ambition to redefine care processes with digital technology.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be the Clinical Lead for Digital Services, utilising their clinical leadership skills and experience to support and lead digital transformation in clinical areas across the organisation.The post holder will oversee the delivery of key digital transformation objectives within the Trust and will act as a role model and expert practitioner for clinical staff.The post holder will line manage the Digital Clinical Team, providing proactive leadership support, enabling colleagues to build knowledge and skills within digital transformation.The post holder’s role will drive forward complex clinical and service change within the organisation by engaging and supporting the delivery of IT and clinical transformation as part of the Digital Programme.The core function of this role will be to enable the delivery of Digital functionality within the scope of the Programme and to lead change as a result.The post holder will ensure communication is maintained between key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation and will ensure that organisational procedures are adhered to and that objectives are identified and met, as well as facilitating the identification and realisation of benefits.Working for our organisationWhy Somerset?Somerset is a beautifully diverse place to live with so much to do!
