If so, then this job is for you!!!Full OR part-time hours available!We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join the Psychology team within our neurodiversity service.The core role involves offering therapeutically-informed and formulation-driven assessments for children aged 4-17 as part of a thriving multidisciplinary team. You would be able to work flexibly and holistically with young people and their families. The children and families we see present with diverse and complex needs. Psychology is highly valued in the service and you would be clinically supported to work in a holistic, needs and values led, way.The role also involves supervising one of our brilliant Assistant Psychologists. We don’t expect you to have supervision experience as we can support you with this.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will hold a clinical caseload, leading on therapeutically-informed and formulation-driven Autism assessments for children and young people alongside multidisciplinary colleagues from Community Paediatrics, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Educational Psychology. You will supervise an Assistant Psychologist and be involved in the very exciting growth of our service with a view to a diverse role supporting neurodiversity across assessment and post-diagnostic pathways.We do not expect the successful candidate to necessarily have direct experience of working with neurodiversity. We want to invest in you and support you to grow into the role. So long as you enjoy working psychologically with children and young people as part of a multidisciplinary team, this role is suitable for you.About The TeamThe multidisciplinary team consists of Community Paediatricians, Speech and Language Therapists, and Educational Psychologists.
