Situated within three acres of landscaped grounds, Priory Hospital Chelmsford is an independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of adults and adolescents with a range of mental health problems. There is a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

The hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment, as well as day care and outpatient services, including separate facilities for young people.

Job Advert Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical/counselling Psychologist to work with the therapy services focusing on acute adult services, both inpatient and outpatient. The post holder will need to have a recognised qualification with experience of working with individuals with acute mental health conditions. The successful applicant will be accredited with an appropriate professional body and should be familiar with using psychological assessment tools.

The post holder will require excellent communication skills and will need to work closely with the existing MDTs within the Acute inpatient services and private inpatient and outpatient services.
