We are currently looking to recruit a keen, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Norfolk Community Eating Disorder Service (NCEDS), based at Meridian Business Park, Norwich.

It is a very exciting time to join our service, with plans in place to develop our excellent staff team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing services.

For this post and you will be required to work collaboratively and independently within our service.

Developing and improving clinical care form the key elements of this post and you will be required to give expert nursing advice and support to patients, their families/carers, the multidisciplinary team, and other healthcare professionals. In return for your commitment and enthusiasm, working within the unique Adult Eating Disorders Team will give you the opportunity to practice a full range of core mental health nursing skills within the multi-disciplinary team.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) ensures that the highest standards of evidenced based nursing care are provided. The post holder will provide specialist nursing within the team, including assessments, psychological therapies and nursing interventions to service users, families and carers

This post is central to the delivery of clinically based therapy, support, education, and training working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder will develop and embed evidence based clinical nursing practice within the team.

The CNS is a clinical specialist in adult mental health and is knowledgeable and skilled in working with groups and teams.
