We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologists to join our Core CAMHS and our Neurodevelopmental Team. Please indicate in your application your preference of working within the Core or Neurodevelopmental team.

The Core CAMHS team works with young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders, providing comprehensive assessment and intervention.

The Neurodevelopmental team has a an ASD, ADHD and LD pathways to support assessment, formulation and mental health intervention for young people. The team works with young people with a diagnosed moderate to severe Learning Disability as well as providing assessment and treatment for young people with Autism and ADHD.

In addition to comprehensive neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments, we also provide mental health assessments and psychological therapies for co-morbid mental health disorders for these young people.

To provide a qualified, highly specialist clinical psychology service to children and adolescents with mental health difficulties, and with a neurodevelopmental disorder (if in the Neuro CAMHS team).

To provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to both professional colleagues and staff from other agencies. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of both the Trust’s and the neurodevelopmental pathway’s policies and procedures.

To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service
