An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medical and Clinical Services directorate for the role of Clinical Equipment Co-ordinator. The post is full time (37.5 hours a week) and is based at the Clinical Logistics Hub at Trecenydd Business Park in Caerphilly, however travel will be required across the Trust area.

The post holder will provide clinical equipment and logistics support to the Operations directorate in the delivery of its service to the Trust and will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, calibration and repair for a range of mechanical/electronic medical devices, including manual defibrillators, emergency lifting cushion compressors and AEDs, ensuring they are in safe working order.

This post will support the commissioning of electronic tagging of clinical equipment in WAST vehicles and premises, and the successful candidate will work closely with the ICT team and the operations directorate.
