This is an opportunity to join our Governance Support Team in a key role to support clinical audit across all the services within Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Clinical audit is a central part of our approach to assuring and continually improving the quality of care.

Working as part of a well-established clinical audit team, the post-holder will be pivotal to the delivery of local, Trust-wide and national clinical audit programmes. They will support quality standards within services to be consistently and effectively measured and actions put in place where needed. They will provide facilitation and support to complete high quality audit cycles that can inform improvements to the quality of our services.

The post-holder will develop relationships with clinical teams and managers across the Trust in a diverse range of services and settings. This is set to expand as we work towards a merger with Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The post will be suited to you if you have an eye for detail, are keen to learn, organised, process-minded, an adept user of IT, and understand the value of both good governance and genuine team-working.
