Position Summary: The Comparator Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and communication of projects for the sourcing of comparator products. With the assistance of Sourcing Specialists and supply chain coordinators, you ensure that the services are delivered on time and to customer’s and Fisher’s quality standards. You act as the primary point of contact for clients, from a first customer request, advising on appropriate sourcing strategy, and providing timely and accurate communication and information for all relevant activities related to comparator projects, both internal and external. This is to ensure that the products are ready for the start of the study or as required by the customer. Timely preparation of reports and other information to customers is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides client consultative support and is responsible for the overall coordination and communication of projects for the sourcing of Comparator products.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and accurate communication and information for all relevant activities related to comparator projects, both internal and external ensuring that the products are ready for the start of the study or as required by the customer.
  • Liaises with Comparator Sourcing Specialists and Supply Chain coordination team members to ensures services are delivered on time and to customer’s and Fisher’s Clinical Services’ quality standards.
  • Supports global customers of various sizes and complexity ranging from new key accounts to customers with a complex profile seeking assistance.
  • Engages with the internal client requestor at time of the request to understand project scope and constraints capturing key project attributes in internal systems, organizes internal kick-off meeting, and ensure proper hand over to sourcing team DocuSign Envelope ID: A7B0336A-0160-4B81-BA5F-C18457EAE025
  • Evaluates with guidance from more experienced team members, if required, the alternatives provided by sourcing team, select the suitable solution for the customer – based on benchmark data from the official database, blending expert knowledge of customer and Comparator business need – and prepare quote for the customer
  • Follows up regularly with internal requestor or customer until the final decision is made and update the internal database as per requirement
  • Manages handover of accurate documentation of the confirmed project to Supply chain team and QA  Engages the QA team for any identified challenges
  • Maintains and share an overview of ongoing projects with customers through the action/project tracker, leverage SharePoint or similar approved platforms.
  • Leads discussions and status updates through teleconferences
  • Provides assistance and support to Project Managers on an ad hoc basis
  • Participates in the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and other meetings with Customer and Suppliers and actively support the preparation of these meetings
  • Supports the preparation of Customer KPI Dashboard and present it to customer
  • Identify complex problems and help facilitate solution-finding and or suggest a solution
  • Act as a knowledge holder of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Clinical Trial Division, Fish Clinical Services, customer and Suppliers T&C and policies

Requirements:
  • College degree (bachelor’s degree in science or business) and/or 3-5 years of commercial experience in a similar role
  • Multi-tasker, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and customer relationship skills. Sense of urgency. Able to prioritize.
  • Ability to work within an international matrix organization
  • Experience in commercial/clinical pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Familiarity with trading of pharmaceuticals a plus
