We are proud to be a leading independent UK consultancy at the forefront of risk, pensions, investment and insurance. Each individual delivers on our shared values and our commitment to ensuring the highest levels of trust, integrity and quality.

Our past growth has been significant. The SSAS product was launched in 1989 and has been enhanced since then through both organic growth and portfolio acquisitions. We aim to continue this growth by recruiting people who share in Barnett Waddingham’s values. As a SSAS administrator and trustee service acting for thousands of clients for over 30 years, we have built up a huge amount of knowledge of pensions and experience in dealing with these schemes and the variety of investments that are held within them. Our clients own over 2,800 commercial properties within their portfolios and every year we agree to around 65 loans back to a business owner’s limited company.

We are looking for an experienced Client Manager to join our growing team. This role can be worked on a hybrid basis - splitting time between home and the office and so getting the best of both worlds. The office base can be Leeds, Liverpool or Amersham.

It is a full-time, permanent position.

  • Managing daily work flow in relation to the given group of clients and understand likely future work flows in coming months.
  • Identifying risk and raise awareness with your Team Leader of the underlying causes.
  • Supporting the SSAS proposition both proactively and reactively, to manage client expectations to ensure you retain them as well as looking for new business potential.
  • Continually looking for more effective or efficient ways of working.
  • Provide management statistics to the Team Leader for a given group of clients when required.
Expertise in a SSAS or SIPP environment is essential.
