Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Dorset Grade 3, Actual Salary £15,327

37 hours per week term time only plus 1 inset day


We are looking for a reception/administrative assistant to work in the busy school office to provide a reception service to ensure all visitor and telephone calls are received in an efficient and effective manner.


The successful candidate will also provide efficient administrative support to all areas of the school and undertake general office duties, to include data input, photocopying and filing. They will also be required to administer first aid to our students and staff for which training will be provided.


The Candidate must have 5 GCSE’s grade C or above with must include English and Mathematics.

This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert and this will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. In the first year of service this salary may need to be adjusted to ensure you are paid accurately to reflect your holiday entitlement. A similar adjustment may be made at the point your employment ends to ensure that you are paid accurately for the number of days worked in any academic year.
