Contract: Government

Location: Basingstoke, RG24 9NW

Hours of work: 25

Working Pattern: Split shift Monday - Friday 06am - 8am & 9am - 12pm

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £11.52

The purpose of this role is to provide and deliver best value and quality cleaning. You will ensure team members complete duties to the required standard and site specifications through the delivery of the cleaning schedules.

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a Leading Facilities Management provider in Bristol. The right candidate will oversee and ensure that the operational delivery of the cleaning is in accordance with the Service Delivery Plan and Health and Safety Practices.

The Role

  • Responsible for looking after a team of cleaners. You will be their first point of contact on a day-to-day basis, responsible for making sure that they are paid, take holiday, and are inducted, trained, and motivated to deliver a high-quality job.
  • Build solid working relationships with our cleaning staff to ensure they understand what is expected of them.
  • Ensure all necessary processes and procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Ensuring and manage attendance of staff.
  • Recruit, induct, train, and motivate staff to achieve required standards of performance.
  • Ensure all staff maintains safe working practices through implementation of Company Health & Safety standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of cleaning meets the agreed standards & site specifications through the completion of cleaning schedules.
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate consumables, materials and services are maintained.
  • Be responsible for reporting and monitoring poor performance and conduct.
