What’s in it for me?

We are currently looking for Class 2 drivers to work on a casual basis initially but could progress to ongoing work with the local council.

Class 2 refuse work Monday to Friday

Starting between 05:30am -07:00am.

£11.50ph

Day to Day Duties

The role involves working in teams of 3-4 collecting residential waste.

Reporting to transport manager to discuss run for the day

Making sure the relevant checks are done on the truck prior to starting the day

Ensure the paperwork is signed by the relevant people

Making sure the cab is kept in a tidy fashion at the end of the shift

Essential Skills

Must have a class 2 Licence

Must have good customer service skills

Must have Driver CPC, DQC card and Digi Tacho card.

No more than 6 points for minor endorsements

Desirable Experience

A minimum of 6 months experience of driving a class 2 wagon
