What You’ll Do

Our drivers ensure the safe, efficient and compliant driving of our Cat C/C E (Class 2 & Class 1) vehicles from our Depots to other sites in our Network including Delivery Units, Hubs and retailers delivering or returning palletised and loose Parcels and Packages. You’ll ensure all parcels are delivered, paperwork updated and help our depot staff with heavier items from time to time.

Our drivers work in shifts and broadly speaking we have the day shift, night shift and twilight/evening shifts.

You will work 40hrs per week including some weekend working but you’ll know your rota at least 4 weeks in advance however some flexibility is needed. We also offer part time and job shares from time to time.

Essential

Skills & Experience Required
  • You’ll need your Class 2 or Class 1 driving licence and digital tachograph to join us as a Cat C or Cat C E driver.
  • Great communication skills as you’ll be maintaining contact with the depot, ensuring any issues are communicated throughout the day.
  • A safety mindset – you’ll ensure safety first in everything you do.
  • During busier times you may need to assist with warehouse duties, so you may need to assist with occasional manual handling of heavier and large items.
What We Can Offer You

Our annual salary for these roles starts at £26,062 which will be equivalent to £12.53 per hour with overtime available at a premium rate.
