We want to hear from Class 2 Drivers who take pride in their vehicles to join our busy transport team at our Andover site. You will want to work 5 days a week for 40 hours basic and no tramping. We offer a competitive starting rate of £11.50 p.h rising to £12.31, with regular overtime available and OTE of up to £30,000. Due to ambitious plans our well established Company is growing and we are investing in our fleet to meet increased demand for our products.

The Responsibilities As Our Class 2 HGV Driver Include

As our main personal contact with our Customers, you will need to be presentable, have good communication skills and attention to detail. The role is for daily multi drop deliveries and moving stock between depots, returning to depot every night. You will be responsible for your vehicle, load, security of your load, reporting defects and accurate recording of deliveries by tablet.

What are we looking for in ourClass 2 HGV Driver?
  • The role will suit a team worker who is keen to learn and committed within this fast-paced workplace.
  • Experience in construction, factory or a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Reliability and efficiency are key attributes of the successful applicant.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure products are handled and stored correctly.
  • You will need to be able to work proactively within a team but also have the self-motivation to work alone at times.
  • Held a UK Licence for at least two years for insurance purposes
  • You must have experience driving in the UK
  • A valid CPC driver’s qualification
  • Digital Tachograph experience
  • Experience of multi-drop or supplying goods to the construction/engineering industry would be an advantage but not essential.
