Claims Customer Proposition Manager

About the role

It’s an exciting time to join the Commercial team here at AXA where we’ve an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Claims Customer Proposition Manager. Reporting into the Head of Claims Customer Experience, you’ll lead a Claims Commercial Communication Executive, and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver market leading communications and propositions. This role is pivotal in the strategic engagement of our customers, colleagues, brokers, and in the broader industry in respect of our claims priorities and developing propositions which supports AXA Commercial’s strategy.

At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home or if in a field-based role, you’ll travel to visit offices or client sites as required. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the development of claims proposition material and initiatives aligned to strategy and customer experience
• Influence the delivery of proposition messages through internal meetings, broker visits, regional forums and conferences, demonstrating the value to customers
• Deliver discussion packs to aid the successful delivery of key claims messages which support broker and customer conversations
• Improve the overall customer experience through insights and analysis of data within the claims proposition
• Seek feedback across other areas of the business to drive improvements in our proposition, customer experience, and communications
• Lead the communication and engagement plan for claims, producing materials to help deliver key messaging to drive education, capability, and advocacy of claims
• Build relationships with the Leadership Teams in Claims and Sales & Distribution, to develop material that shares key messages aligned to strategic outcomes and success
• Lead a Claims Communication Executive to deliver communications which showcase the claims successes and proposition

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to influence stakeholders and partners at a senior level to achieve results and maintain relationships
• Experience of working in the insurance industry with an overview of commercial insurance preferred
• Experience in claims, sales, underwriting or engaging with brokers to build effective relationships is desired
• Successful track record of developing propositions and communications
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated and capable of working across functions
• Experience of managing people with the ability to work both as part of a team and alone
• Decision-making ability at a senior level and capable of making decisions without instruction
• Planning and organisational skills with experience of working to tight deadlines
