Are you a highly experienced leader, looking for a chance to make an impact and join a business on an exciting journey?We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer who brings enthusiasm, drive and experience to help shape the future of a renowned business in the fuel and convenience retail industry, Jos Richardson & Son.This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join a business with a strong ambition to grow and develop.The successful candidate will be based in or around Yorkshire and be responsible for the full operational strategy and delivery of the business.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations and a strong understanding of the fuel and convenience retail industry. Experience in acquiring new sites would be an advantage.As Chief Operating Officer, you will have overall responsibility for the operational strategy and execution of the business. This will involve managing the day-to-day running of the business and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service, cost efficiency and profitability. You will have a strong commercial acumen and be able to spot opportunities for cost savings or new revenue streams. You will be able to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, to maximise the potential of the business.You will be a confident leader, able to bring out the best in your team and motivate them to achieve their goals.
