No.4 Clifton Village is looking for a creative and fun Chef de Partie to join their fine-dining kitchen team.

As Chef de Partie you will be part of a high performing team of chefs producing high quality dishes for No.4 Clifton Village. The venue frequently has weddings and other events (current restrictions allowing), so you will get variety in your working week. You will be involved in all food preparation and service from the start of your employment – enabling you to get stuck in from the get-go!

Key information for the Chef de Partie role:

Hours: Full time - 45 hours per week. Whilst this position offers paid overtime, more often than not, you will find yourself working contracted hours to enable you to have a good work life balance! You will get 2 days off per week (Sunday is usually a rest day unless there is an event on) and will work straight shifts only.

Hourly rate:£10.20 per hour plus monthly service charge

A typical week - As Chef de Partie at No.4 Clifton Village you will be part of a close team who work hard to get the job done but have fun at the same time! You will be helping to supervise more junior chefs and will also get to contribute ideas to menus. Some knowledge of the pastry section would be helpful for this role.

Ideally, you’ll have some experience within a fine dining kitchen but this is not a requirement - it’s more important that you have great skills, a passion for food and the right attitude! You may be a strong demi-chef de partie or an existing chef de partie looking to take on a new challenge.

What you’ll be doing as Chef de Partie:

  • Prepare and cook food for our a la carte and special event menus
  • Working in all sections of the kitchen - including pastry
  • Supporting more junior chefs
  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy during your shift
  • Work to rota arranged by the Head Chef or Sous chef
  • Act as a good team player

The interview process:
