We at the Butchers Social have moved. We are looking at a bigger and brighter 2021 and with that in mind we have purchased The Forest Hotel in Dorridge. We at The Butchers Social started our life in Harborne as a one night pop up turned 9 month incubation. The Butchers Social was cemented in Henley in Arden and has been a huge success for over 4 years. With success comes growth and with the expansion comes opportunity. We are currently looking for an experienced Chef De Parti e to join us on this journey. So we ask, are you passionate about food? Do you enjoy about working in a vibrant busy atmosphere? Do you love to go that extra mile? If the answers are yes to these questions, then we really want you to join our awesome team Responsibilities:
  • Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
  • Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
  • Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
  • Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
  • Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
  • Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role
  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of best cooking practices
  • Culinary school diploma The ideal Chef de partie will be/have:
  • Happy cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients from scratch
  • Have a passion for food and desire to learn and progress with a great company
  • Obsessed with delivering consistently excellent food
  • Inspirational ideas for recipe development for our menu Shift Patterns:
  • Split shifts.
  • Weekdays.
