Battersea Place retirement village is home to an array of five-star facilities including chef-led restaurant, concierge, chauffeur service, pool and cinema.

LifeCare Residences has two operating villages in New Zealand and three in the United Kingdom. Battersea Place, the current flagship of LifeCare Residences, is London’s first, and currently the only, Luxury Retirement Community in the city centre.

We are looking to recruit a BANK Chauffeur to join our Front of House team to act as the first point of contact to our residents and uphold the company culture at all times while making visitors feel welcomed and valued.

The Chauffeur’s responsibilities include caring and driving residents to specified locations, and ensuring that the vehicle remains in excellent condition. Helping assist residents with the loading and unloading of their personal belongings.

Chauffeur Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the Concierge desk and directly with our Residents.
  • Ensuring that the Resident’s door is open as you greet them in a professional, personable and sincere manner.
  • Selecting the fastest routes based on GPS software and traffic updates, unless otherwise instructed.
  • Completing collections and deliveries on behalf of the residents, if requested.
  • Abiding by road regulations at all times.
  • Ensuring that the vehicle remains pristine and in excellent working order.
  • Forecasting and responding to customers’ questions and concerns.
  • Checking all bookings are confirmed.

Chauffeur Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • D1 license/Commercial driver’s license will be desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Chauffeur.
  • Acquainted with GPS software and local traffic reports.
  • Neat appearance.
  • Ability to interact with clients in a warm, professional manner.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work during evenings, on weekends, and on public holidays, as required.
