How you will make an impact as a CCTV Operator:

• The role of a CCTV Operator is interesting and varied, you will be responsible for protecting our customer’s property, people and assets by providing security services to a specific site in direct accordance with the customer’s assignment instructions.
• You will be working onsite from the CCTV Control room with a global Technology client, assisting people all over the world whilst providing excellent customer service.
• You will be communicating with all areas of the organisation, from IT to HR.
• You will assist with the organisation of all security personnel throughout their shift in support of the Line Manager.
• You will operate CCTV and adhering to the site code of practice and will be responsible for creating and distributing CCTV images.
• The role will consist of responsibilities such as monitoring and management of appearance, behaviours of all Security personnel, actively encourage staff recognition, ensuring all incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
• You will also assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing of “Best Practice” and use of systems and tools to improve service effectiveness.
• You will also help with CCTV technology enhancement conducting operational tests to ensure that users are fully compliant.
• Daily, you will monitor faults with security-related equipment, ensuring issues are reported correctly.
• You will become fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring an effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.

The main responsibilities for this CCTV role are:

• Monitoring and management of appearance, behaviors of all security personnel, actively encourage staff recognition, make sure all incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
• You will also assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing of “best practice” and use of systems and tools to improve service effectiveness. There is also opportunities to help with technology enhancement conducting operational tests and that users are fully compliant
• On a daily basis you will be monitoring faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly and being fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems.

• An SIA CCTV Operator or SIA Security Licence is essential
• Applicants will possess excellent customer service skills.
• Applicants will possess a basic understanding of IT systems that work alongside CCTV systems
• Applicants will have good communication skills, able to articulate with authority
• You must be able to remain calm and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
• You will be vigilant and alert, able to use a blend of caution with a decisive common-sense approach to your duties.
• All applicants must hold a clear 5-year checkable employment history
• Applicants must be able to work 24/7 shift pattern (42hrs per week over 3.5 Days).
