We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our friendly dedicated catering team at Victoria Hospital.
The role is a 12 hour a week position Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1600-1900.
Working weekends attracts a higher rate of pay.
As a Catering Assistant you will help prepare sandwiches and salads. You will also help to prepare meals, hot/cold snacks that are served to our staff. You will also be required to carry out other general kitchen duties including cleaning of the kitchen.
Catering Assistants within the hospital have a key role in maintaining a high standard of meal provision to patients and make a valuable contribution in the wider care team that supports patients during their time in hospital. You should have good organisational and communication skills, be flexible in your approach to work whilst demonstrating an ability to work using your own initiative and work as part of a team.
