North Bristol Trustare an Award Winning catering department specifically catering for Patients and Staff and across Southmead Hospital

We are currently looking for experienced Catering Assistants

Salary £18,005 - £19,337 per annum

Full time Hours:-37.5 hours per week

Working from Monday – Sunday with varying shift patterns each week

Main shifts patterns will include – 11:00-14:30 & 15:45-19:45 + 9:00-13:30 & 16:00-19:00

The details of this role are as follows:

  • Carrying out of duties in the Central Production Kitchens, Restaurant or Ward Level Patient Meal Service.
  • These duties include service of food, cleaning of premises and equipment, preparation of vegetables, fruit, salads, sandwiches, toast, beverages and other food items.
  • Cooking and preparation of basic food items for serving.
  • It can involve taking of cash, mainly via the use of cash tills.
  • Pot wash and working in the catering stores area. Full training is given before this duty is undertaken.
