JOB OVERVIEW

A fantastic opportunity to join Kent College’s Junior School as a Casual Early Years Practitioner has arisen.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Casual Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and welcoming Junior School team to provide learning activities for pupils under the professional direction and supervision of the class teacher. They will also plan, prepare and deliver lessons/learning boosts to whole classes, small groups and individual pupils.

WHY CHOOSE US

Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation. The school is located in Canterbury, just one hour from the center of London by train. The Junior School ( from Nursery to year 6) has some 200 children and is set on an idyllic 14-acre campus. This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a happy, caring, and successful school in which pupils feel supported and encouraged to aim for high standards of achievement and conduct. Children follow individualised programs that recognise that all children flourish at different rates and in response to different challenges.

The school was graded as excellent in all categories in the recent inspection conducted by ISI in October 2022, the Independent Schools Inspectorate that conducts inspections on behalf of the Secretary of State for Education.
