We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Carers Assessment Service within Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, with a focus on working with the families of adults with mental health needs.

Your role will be to promote and enable the identification of carers within the adult mental health service and to ensure that their own needs as carers are assessed as part of the Recovery Care Programme Approach (RCPA).

You will assist and facilitate carers in accessing relevant carers support services, ensuring their needs are met.

This is a 37.5 hours per week permanent contract

You will have substantial experience of working within a mental health care environment and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will receive excellent induction and training to enable you to carry out this role to a high standard, with regular supervision and support.
