Company Description

Here at Home Instead South East Northumberland, we are looking to grow our team of CAREGivers. We are a CQC outstandingrated home care provider, supporting ageing adults throughout South East Northumberland. Care Assistants are known as CAREGivers within Home Instead and the care and support our CAREGivers deliver is designed to allow our clients to live independently in their own homes in Blyth and the surrounding areas.

Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to someone's quality of life? Here at Home Instead, we believe that consistency is important, meaning you will visit the same clients on a regular basis, allowing you to build a great bond with your clients.Our visits are a minimum length of one hour, giving you time to get to know your all of your clients.

We have a range of shifts available, from morningvisits, to evenings, weekendwork and daytimevisits.

What does being a CAREGiver involve?
  • Minimum 1-hour visits
  • Introductions to all new clients
  • CAREGivers matched to clients based on hobbies and interests.
  • Companionship lead care service
  • Shopping, general household tasks and helping to prepare food
  • Building strong professional relationships
  • Variety on non-medical services to help the client stay as independent as possible in their own home
Qualifications

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver and we encourage people from different sectors to apply, whether that is: retail, hospitality, childcare, customer service, delivery driving. We provide FULL training from the start.

All we ask is that you have a driving license and access to your own vehicle, as our clients often like to get out and about during their visits.
