In Care at Home every day is different, and you will be providing a variety of non-medical services to the people we support, helping them to remain living in their own homes.

We are looking for staff to work in the following areas:

Dumfries area

Lochside / Lincluden

Heathhall / Locharbriggs

Town

The ideal Candidate:

  • You must be highly organised, responsible and reliable.
  • You must have good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You will be able to easily build relationships with the people you will be supporting.
  • A full driving licence is essential and you must have access to a vehicle, as you will be travelling to the homes of people we support in the Dumfries area to provide care and support.
  • Successful candidates will be required to work across a weekly rota, including weekends. There is some scope for flexibility and opportunities for overtime and weekend only work.
  • Successful applicants MUST register for the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) .
  • No experience necessary, but You must be caring, friendly, patient and passionate about helping others.
  • You will be registered with SSSC or be willing to register with SSSC.

Shifts are 7am - 2pm / 3pm-10pm / including flexible shifts

Full time / Part time / Weekends only
