Are you a driven, positive, and highly organised individual with natural people skills?

We are assisting our client in the recruitment of a training officer who will be responsible, as part pf a broader team, for providing appropriate and high-quality training of all mandatory foundation and refresher training to all carers joining this business.

As Healthcare trainer you will work with the carers, delivering all aspects of carer training on a one-to-one or classroom basis, delivering theory and practical learning.

This role requires a passionate individual who is confident and a strong communicator who has the experience and relevant training accreditations within the social care sector. This opening represents an exciting opportunity for the right social care trainer to join a growing company who invest in their people and will allow you to support in business growth and the delivery of quality care

Key Duties

  • Maintaining up-to-date training and development plans for all staff
  • Delivering training
  • Ensuring training targets are met
  • Completing and maintaining up to date records
  • Deliver and oversee the on-boarding induction programme, including the successful completion of the Care Certificate,
  • Deliver interactive and engaging training courses which upskill and develop the workforce through ‘online’ and ‘video’ platforms as well as classroom and one to one training
  • Identify additional learning requirements as required
  • Keep up to date with best practice

The Successful Candidate will…

  • Be able to demonstrate experience in delivering training programmes in a way that promotes a positive outcome-focused ethos.
  • Have previous experience and qualifications in the Health & Social Care sector
  • Ideally possess Assessors’ Awards and have training qualification such as ‘train the trainer’.
  • Have experience of delivering training through online platforms
  • Be passionate about training within the social care sector, empowering staff with the knowledge and tools that they need to change lives for the better.
  • Be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the organisation and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
