Care Systems Trainer

Hours:35 Hours per week -Monday to Friday

Salary £25,000 + Car Allowance & Mileage

All staff working with in our Care Homes and wider staff are legally required to be double Covid-19 vaccinated from November 2021.

Could this be you? …

As our Care Systems Trainer you will be responsible for our electronic care plan system (Nourish) across our network of homes. Working with the Operations team you will ensure that all members of staff are trained and are using the system correctly and reporting is accurate and complete. Our care homes are located across England, and you are likely to spend at least 4 days a week visiting the homes with 1 day a week possibly at our Head Office in Peterborough.

Some of your responsibilities as the Care Systems Trainer will include:

  • Visit all care homes/sites on an as needed basis (as requested by Operations) to deliver in house training sessions to new staff and refresher training where it is required.
  • Ensure that Nourish significantly contributes to our goal of ‘Outstanding’ care.
  • Flexible to provide urgent training to the homes.
  • Working with Operations Team to continuously improve our use of the system to best deliver outstanding care to our residents.
  • Deliver training to new staff and refresher training where required.
  • Support all users of the Nourish system to resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Ensure that we are meeting all relevant CQC / regulatory requirements including GDPR.
  • Be responsible for the supplier management of Nourish which includes ensuring system maintenance and upgrades have the minimal impact on our business.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and improvements of KPI’s.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is confident in engaging with staff and able to develop themselves & others and have the following attributes and experience:

  • Excellent working knowledge of care planning, care plans and personalisation (Desirable)
  • Care experience or an understanding of care home processes (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of Nourish (Desirable)
  • Experience of developing system training materials.
  • Experience of training users on new systems
  • Qualified trainer OR willingness to obtain qualification
  • Ability to Understand KPI’s and stats to drive improvements
  • Able to build excellent working relationships with our Registered Home Managers and operational staff
  • Plan and prioritise workload and own administration so that deadlines and standards are met.
  • Good IT skills with the ability to deliver virtual training via MS Teams.
  • You must also hold a UK Driving Licence, have access to your own car and willing to undertake extensive travel throughout our network of homes.

Covid Safety
