Priory Court Care & Nursing Home is situated in the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea & we provide high-quality nursing and residential care, specifically tailored to each individual. Our friendly and compassionate care team led by Vicki our Manager are dedicated to our residents, who’s needs vary but are safe in the knowledge that we are on hand to help and support them throughout the day, every day!

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping our residents with personal support and care
• Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
• Serving meals/drinks and assisted feeding
• Interacting with our residents on a personal level
• Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

Due to the nature of the Care Assistant role, you will need to pay £26.00 towards the cost of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, prior to starting with us.

We operate COVID secure homes and have strict procedures in place to ensure the safety of all residents and staff. This includes Covid & temperature testing and wearing appropriate PPE, including a face mask to be worn at all times whilst on shift, unless medically exempt.
