Seven Social Care is looking for a qualified Care Manager within the Rotherham area.

The Role

You will be working alongside and providing support to the current registered manager. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the business, have strong leadership and people management skills and be able to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring minutes are all recorded and filed accordingly throughout the business- management meetings, team meetings, disciplinaries etc

Carrying out risk assessments and new care assessments

Writing care plans and conducting quarterly updates

Able to conduct medication audits throughout the business with the help of the senior carer team

Writing up reports such as complaints, safeguarding concerns, investigations etc and filing accordingly

Auditing senior care log weekly audits

Compiling accurate and concise service user files

Analysing incidents, accidents, errors, near misses, late or missed calls and implementing action plans based on trends

Ensure all management team have up to date development plans in place

Ensuring the current onboarding tracker and training matrix are up to date

Working with the Care Manager to conduct business audits, database security and accurate records

Maintaining internal databases.

Be the point of contact for any service user queries or issues and their family members

Investigating complaints, ensuring the complaints procedure has been followed and outcomes documented

Safeguarding and notifications

Keeping contingency plans up to date

Mental capacity and best decision outcomes documented and recorded

Ensuring the service is compliant with the AIS

Ensure full compliance with CQC and all relevant regulatory bodies

Maintaining the positive culture, core values and aims and objectives of the company and provide leadership.

Applicant Requirements

Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care

Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
