A rewarding role for anyone with a love for animals, the outdoors and engaging young people with therapeutic, animal- assisted activities.

1:1 support for children between 5 and 18, some with behaviour that challenges, helping them achieve meaningful and fun tasks looking after our range of rescue animals, gardening and helping nature. Your role is to facilitate social and emotional growth, build self-esteem and support achievement of animal care qualifications post-14.

Responsibilities include reporting on progress made towards targets, following health and safety and safeguarding protocols and planning fun activities.

You must be confident, gentle and kind with a range of animal species, happy to be outdoors and willing to get involved!

This is a term time only position with variable hours between 9 and 3, with some optional holiday work.

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
