We are seeking to appoint two Care Co-ordinators with a caring nature and proactive professional manner to provide a high standard of support for our patients. The successful candidates will also have shared responsibility for the management of the Reception team. This is a new, and combined, role within Primary Care and is fantastic opportunity for applicants with good communication skills, and a commitment to work, and lead, as part of a strong and effective team.
Queens Road Surgery is a comparatively large (14,500 patients), semi-rural practice operating from a purpose built surgery in Shotley Bridge, Consett, and a branch surgery in Moorside, Consett. It is part of the Derwentside PCN, a member of the local federation, Derwentside Healthcare Limited, and proactively looks to improve the way it works within the community. It was rated ’Good’ at its most recent CQC inspection.
The Practice is a 6 Partner, 10 GP Practice, employing a wide mix of staff including Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Phlebotomist, Pharmacists, Physician Associate, Managers and a number of Reception, Administration and Clerical Staff. The Practice is a RCGP research practice and an accredited training practice for years 3 through 5 medical students, F2’s and Registrars, and offers opportunities to progress and develop. This is a varied and challenging role where opportunities for training and development are provided.
