We are looking for CAREGivers who are kind, compassionate and caring to join our friendly care team.

Job Description

Morning/Lunchtime/Afternoon/Teatime shifts available - the morning/lunchtime shift starts from 7.15am to 2.30pm and the afternoon/teatime shifts start from 2.30pm to 9.30pm. We do ask that our CAREGivers have availability to work every other weekend.

Salary - Starting from £10.05ph to £10.95ph at weekends plus mileage and company benefits

The aim is to provide physical and emotional support to combat isolation and help an older person navigate the challenges of remaining independent at home.

CAREGivers Duties Include
  • Visit regular people in the community for a minimum of 1 hour to support with a variety of needs, such as assisting them to prepare a meal, help with medication, personal care, keeping socially and physically active and most importantly to offer companionship and a listening ear.
  • Support clients and encourage them to design activities to enhance their quality of life.
This position is based around Warminster in Wiltshire where you will be supporting the same clients on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

You will need:
  • Empathy, good listening and communication skills.
  • A professional approach and dedication to improving a person's life.
  • English speaking.
  • No formal qualifications necessary, but experience in caring for someone in a personal or professional capacity is an advantage.
  • Fairly flexible time availability to offer care.
  • Driver's licence and access to a vehicle is essential..
  • More advanced roles are available for candidates with experience in more complex care needs.
