We have a new role opening on the farm for a capable all-rounder to join our thriving dairy team.

We are a 600 cow dairy with a new rotary parlour, handling system and well designed sheds with an increasing amount of automation across the farm. We calve all year round, milk 2 x day and sell milk with Arla. We have an established and excellent team on the dairy and are looking for someone join the wider farm team.

The Role and Opportunities

The job would include a mix of dairy and arable work with a bias on the tractor/maintenance/operational work, we have up-together kit and a new JD185R carrying out the majority of field work in house particularly maize establishment, bale hauling etc. We would like to take someone on who takes pride in their work and with machinery and maintenance experience. Above all, the successful candidate will have a great, positive attitude to work and must enjoy and work well within the team.

We are located in a lovely village just out of Cheltenham/Gloucester with great local amenities and schools. The families’ values are to treat staff and animal welfare with the utmost importance and to create a great place to work. Regular time off available and a good working environment.

A lovely refurbished 3 bedroom detached house in the village with garage and nice garden is available for the right candidate.

The Package;

Salary adjusted to experience and candidate from £30K - 38K / PA.

Rent free accommodation worth £18000/pa equivalent

Council Tax paid for £2400/pa

Company Pension

This makes the package worth in excess of£50,000.
