Cancer Audit and Waiting Times Co-ordinator (Ref: 171895)

Fixed term for 12 Months

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Band 4 - Salary Range £27,598 - £30,019 per annum plus

Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 per annum

Secondments welcome

This post is part of a team aiming to improve cancer care services in Shetland. The post holder will be responsible for data collection, input and analysis which will support NHS Shetland in monitoring progress towards waiting times targets, audit and reporting on cancer quality performance indicators.

In this role you will be extracting data from a variety of systems in support of patient services with a number of deadlines and priorities to be met. High standards of care are required to ensure that information is handled and reported in line with data protection and confidentiality requirements.

This contract is fixed-term for 12 months to allow for ongoing workforce planning and review of establishment. As this is a new post to be developed we would hope to make the arrangement permanent in the future if successful.
