Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced administrator to work within a busy community CAMHS service to support our medical workforce.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide flexible, timely and accurate secretarial support.

As a Secretary within the NHS, the nature of this post requires a high level of competence and confidence with a strict requirement of confidentiality. Communicate with patient/carers for appointments and other clinic related information.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities

The post holder will provide flexible, timely and accurate secretarial support. As a Secretary within the NHS, the nature of this post requires a high level of competence and confidence with a strict requirement of confidentiality. Communicate with patient/carers for appointments and other clinic related information.

The post holder should have excellent communication and organisational skills, and have the ability to work by using their own initiative. The post holder will act as a mentor for administration apprenticeship staff within the team offering guidance and support to complete qualification.

Essential criteria

  • Good general education up to GCSE/ A level standard / NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
  • Recognised IT qualification

  • Good management skills

  • Ability to provide clear information to clients and staff

  • Demonstrable experience within an administrative or secretarial role
