Brent CAMHS are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to work in our Under 5 ASD Assessment Service. The post involves assessment only of children under 5 that are referred to our specialist assessment team by our Paediatric colleagues. Engagement with parents/carers, nurseries and primary schools is a key component to this role in order to carry out and complete the assessment process.

For those interested in ASD there is a focus on this pathway across North West London STP and work is underway to review the full pathway, across all ages in Brent.

You will need to have experience working clinically with this cohort of patients and previous experience in other areas of CAMHS would be beneficial.
