Location: Leeds (working from home and office based)
Contract Type: Full Time and Permanent
Salary: £30,000
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday office hours

We are looking for a Buyer who is dynamic and confident in engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, and most of all who is driven to provide the best experience for our customers and is passionate about delivering value to the NHS. An exciting opportunity to manage a new Point of Sale team within the existing Maintenance Team. Buildingrelationships with existing suppliers to develop processes, manage contracts, supplier reports and drive savings for our customers.

What will you be doing?

You will manage and develop processes for point-of-sale maintenance contracts for capital medical equipment and ongoing contract management to support the NHS and deliver the objectives of NHS Supply Chain, operating under the current model.Utilising your influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive savingsfor ourcustomers, whilst also promoting the benefits.

• Develop a detailed knowledge of the framework and understand the benefits for our customers.

• Develop a stakeholder engagement plan to understand requirements to support and identify innovative savings opportunities
• Identify customers not utilising NHSSC maintenance framework and develop a plan to engage and convert
• Drive consistency and improve ways of working internally and service provision to NHS and Supplier
• Develop and manage customer and supplier relationships to driver quality and achieve savings for the NHS

• Work in support of the Buying team in developing category strategies and to ensure all contracts are implemented within required legal frameworks
• Managing a new team of 3-4 including Admin Assistants and Assistant Buyers
