We are recruiting a new role to support our Business System Manager to ensure that Affinity Trust staff can fully utilise our management information systems.

About The Role
  • You will be the first point of contact for user support queries & will assist in the development, change, review and documentation of system processes.
  • Assist in the development, change, review and documentation of system processes, ensuring that they remain fit for purpose and meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain a process library for systems that all staff can access.
  • Work with the Business Systems Manager to generate reports and dashboards for management information purposes.
  • Engage with staff across the organisation, helping them to generate their own reports and self-serve from our information systems wherever possible.
  • To keep a log of system change requests.
  • To produce timely accurate reports for managers based on the data extracted from operations systems.
  • Work pro-actively to suggest process/reporting improvements.
  • Act up for the Business Systems Manager during periods of absence.

What skills and experience do I need?
  • At least 2 years in a system related skilled professional or technical role
  • Experience of working with minimal supervision
  • Experience of working across with a range of stakeholders
  • An intuitive understanding of how users interact with software and systems
  • Good understanding of how relational databases work
  • Good understanding of programming languages
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (specifically a good working knowledge of pivot tables, data manipulation and presentation)
  • Moderate Word knowledge
  • Visio knowledge would be a benefit
