This excellent secondary school is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Teacher of Business Studies to join our permanent staff list from September 2023. This school is known for its commitment to academic excellence and the personal development of their students and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. The ability to teach KS3-4 Business Studies is essential. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the wider life of the school, including participating in extra-curricular activities and whole school events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and challenge students, promoting independent learning and intellectual curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents to support student achievement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a dynamic and relevant Business Studies curriculum.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and whole school events as required.
Requirements
  • A degree in Business Studies or a related field.
  • Holds an clear Enhanced DBS on Update Service
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and A-Level syllabus for Business Studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for all students.
