We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the team at our Broughton site as a Business Methods Engineer.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside six other Engineers in the same field and work with a huge variety of internal stakeholders across the business as you will be the interface between the central and plant organisations. How You Will Contribute To The Team

  • Leading Manufacturing part of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) projects including development of new PLM solution for end to end Digital Continuity (Engineering to Shop floor)
  • Maintain business rules for automation for digital platforms
  • Development and deployment of the Mechanical Engineering (ME) Work Preparation Excellence journey supporting our Production System maturity objectives, the deployment of our Preparation and Execution System and the ramp-up of our key Programs
  • Define/update Method/Process/AOS bricks
  • Lead business continuity / continuous improvement projects as part of the ME Process-Methods-Tools Roadmap
  • Provide and support cost improvement actions; analyze possibilities, create concepts and technical solutions
  • Perform Benchmarking activities; using of existing resources with benefit for Airbus (Internal & external benchmark)
  • Manage FUIN0301 & FUIN0304 processes, including EASA, EN9100 and Internal Audit Specific NC Programming transverse activities
  • Specify new NC Programming solutions for new means (including PP & PIK creation, and virtual machines for simulation tool)
  • Post Processors (PP) / Process Implementation Kit (PIK) improvement Specific Process Performance transverse activities
  • Define/maintain Digital tool for STV/SLB

About You

  • Experience in an engineering environment
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience
