Can you be part of the Business Intelligence development for Derbyshire Constabulary helping to keep our communities safe?

If so, we have a new and exciting opportunity as a Business Intelligence Developer on a full-time, permanent basis working in the Analytical Services Team.

You’ll play a key part in contributing to “making Derbyshire safer together”. You’ll be making a positive impact on people’s lives by taking a hands-on approach to developing our business intelligence, delivering actionable information to help the force make decisions that enable us to protect our communities.

Using your knowledge and experience within business intelligence and your knowledge of analytical techniques you will be the point of contact for knowledge sharing within the force and raising the awareness of the importance of Derbyshire’s data assets to improve the reliability of reporting and the value they add to operational policing.

You will be delivering and developing analytical products, such as self-serve dashboards, which support all aspects of operational policing and corporate assurance. Producing business-focussed analytics that support the aims and direction of our force.

It is an exciting time to join us as we have recently invested in cloud-based tools and data infrastructure that can really drive value across the force. It’s both a challenging and rewarding role as the data you will work with will be varied and complex but if you have the skills, passion, creativity and desire, then the capabilities are endless.
