Morley College London with support from the Taking Teaching Further Programme is looking to recruit an Associate Lecturer Business & Future Tech for Business on a 2 year fixed term contract, for its new academic team at the North Kensington Centre.

The purpose of this this role is to teach across the North Kensington Centre, predominantly within the Business & IT area, providing tutorial support to students, and taking an active role in course development, course planning, student assessment and quality enhancement.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • To lead high quality learning, teaching and assessment within the Centre.
  • To provide tutorial supervision and support to students.
  • To contribute to the review, planning and development of the curriculum provision.
  • To take an active role in quality enhancement, ensuring the quality of the provision, including raising standards and improving student attendance, retention and achievement.

The following are desirable skills and knowledge the College is looking for:

  • Experience of contributing to education, training or learning environments
  • Experience of communicating or working collaboratively in live online environments
  • Experience of working with 16-19 yr olds in industry based or educational/community settings


This role may be suitable for a recent graduate or industry professional through the support of the Taking Teaching Further recruitment initiative that will provide teacher training, mentoring and support for candidates new to teaching.

The North Kensington Centre at an exciting stage in its redevelopment is seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer in Business /Future Technologies for Business, and an Associate Lecturer in ICT and Digital Technologies. The team at the centre is growing its provision in both Business and ICT with a focus in both on the development of digital and new technologies.

The planned renovations in North Kensington will have dedicated digital technology suites and Business Enterprise Centre. The learner is placed at the heart of a unique educational experience to build their industry skills and soft skills towards prosperity in their future career and/or future studies.
