Our commercial team plays a critical role in UKHSA mission to protect every member of the community from the impact of infectious diseases, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incident and other health threats. We played a huge role during the COVID-19 pandemic, operating at a significant pace, testing infrastructure, procuring test kits and negotiating and managing highly complex logistics contracts and we continue to build on that legacy.

Our Commercial team deliver strategic and operational activities across the end-to-end commercial cycle, supporting early supplier engagement, understanding and tracking markets, right through to contract management. We influence the strategy and decisions being made, working with scientific and academic stakeholders as well as putting in place vital contracts that keep us operating as an organisation. Within the team, we also have business development expertise and a vaccine and countermeasures team making this a truly exciting commercial team to join.

This job is specifically focused on joining our unique Business Development department within UKHSA working on a range of programmes & projects and supporting commercial activity within those programmes. The specific role will cover the spectrum of marketing activities necessary to support our income generation activities
