Job ProfileJob Profile for Business Development Manager - 00253557Business Development Manager required for a motion controls systems provider based in Congleton. This role will be based in the Northern territory and specifically in the M62 corridor. The ideal candidate will come from a sales background and the automation industry. However, training on their products will be provided.Business Development Manager Position Overview
  • Assist the business in delivering its long-term goal to become the market leading force
  • Applying intelligent technology and expertise to the UK machinery manufacturing market
  • Grow sales volumes, within the assigned geographic area over pre-existing levels
  • Using the company recognised sales process, procedures, best practices, and strategic selling methods.
  • Qualifying leads
Business Development Manager Position Requirements
  • Customer facing experience
  • Sales experience
  • Experience within the automation industry is advantageous.
Business Development Manager Position Remuneration
  • Normal working hours are 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to
4.00 pm on Fridays. (We are currently trialling earlier finishing time of 1pm on Fridays).
  • Starting salary £35-£45k per annum.
  • Bonus scheme 15% of annual salary (pro-rata) assuming all agreed targets are achieved.
(The scheme is based on both Personal and Company performance).
  • Eligibility to company car allowance scheme.
  • The Company complies with its statutory obligations relating to auto enrolment pension schemes (Enrolment into the company scheme is deferred for 3 months following the date employment commences).
  • Entitlement of 24 days holiday in each holiday year in addition to public holidays.
