This is a role working with our office in Basingstoke but flexible on location and remote working arrangements.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing new business opportunities and identifying new leads in the area of safety and environmental risk management in the defence supply chain
  • Providing quotations and renewals and follow these up by contacting customers in order to maximise opportunities.
  • Identifying new areas & opportunities for the business to develop
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
  • Managing key accounts.
  • Responding to routine customer enquiries and provide account management support.
  • Being part of a team producing high quality tenders, RFIs and proposals.
  • Following up after work has been completed in order to gain further quoting opportunities and repeat business.
  • Co-ordinating and liaising with clients, consultants, administration, and other RPS offices at all levels.
Who We’re Looking For
  • A proven track record of working in sales in a defence consultancy environment
  • The ability to achieve demanding targets and deadlines.
  • A strong team player and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Personal attributes will include the ability to follow projects through to completion, determination, enthusiasm, the ability to work as part of a professional team and the ability to work in an organised and planned way
