My client is a leading electronics company specialising in the design and manufacture of innovative and durable power generation and management solutions based in Louth, Lincolnshire.

My client is now looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development / Sales Person to join their team.

Your job as a Business Development / Sales Person is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have an good telephone manner
  • Be computer literate
  • Have good negotiation skills
  • Be able to give advice on product selection
  • Be able to promote the product to potential customers
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Willing to Travel
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Providing management with feedback
  • A good business sense
  • A deep understanding of marketing principles
  • Have a positive attitude
Some technical knowledge and experience would be an advantage.

An electrician wanting to move into sales would suit this role.
