Level 4 Junior Management Consultant Apprenticeship Programme

This role enables the GB Work & Rewards and Employee Experience* businesses to achieve client growth targets by supporting the Client Impact team in implementing new business activities. This team consists of executive management, sales enablement and lead generation professionals. It is a highly varied role predominately covering tasks such as creating sales related collateral (mainly in PowerPoint and Word), facilitating marketing events, follow up campaigns, collating and designing internal and external emails and communication material, client segmentation, coordinating prospect and client knowledge across systems and excel, project managing work flow and working with their line manager/operations team on ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

Business DevelopmentSupport:

  • Using excel to analyse lists of clients for various prospecting, events and campaign tasks
  • Working with the Business Development Associate to improve and create PowerPoint slides for proposals, pitches and the ongoing content library.
  • Creating creative emails on behalf of the executive team and preparing collateral for Client Impact team initiatives within the business
  • Supporting the Lead Generation Associate with prospect research and collateral production, this can include analysing information and client lists to identify opportunities. In doing so you will become an expert and source of client knowledge to join dots across the business
  • Coordinating initiatives to improve Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with support from administrators and offshore resources

Events co-ordination support:

  • GB event coordinator for events not supported by central marketing.
  • Working with the central marketing team and Marketing lead to deliver events
  • Project managing the marketing and events calendar – tracking events, prompting publications, social media, LinkedIn

Communications/Operations

  • Supporting with the creation of client-facing publications
  • Building awareness of products that can be marketed through publications/ events.
  • Supporting Growth meetings and Senior Seller meetings / Away Day meetings.

Training & Qualifications

This Apprenticeship is a 15-month programme where you will be provided on the job training and a highly competitive study support package for the Level 4 Junior Management Consultant qualification. You will be fully supported by Willis Towers Watson and our official government approved Training Provider throughout the duration of the programme. The programme involves formal classroom learning and online webinars where apprentices will learn communication and team-working skills, business analysis, relationship building and project management among many others.

Sponsored by the Employee Experience and Work & Rewards leadership team, our programme also provides access to senior mentors and a “buddy network” to support your wider career development, with ample networking and experience-building opportunities.

The Requirements

  • 3 A-Levels or equivalent qualifications, ideally including subjects such as English and Maths
    • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Outlook
    • Grammar/spelling
    • Typing/data entry speed and accuracy

This role will suit a ‘doer’ who is conscientious, tenacious and consistent with a good eye for design and detail. They must show initiative to have own ideas and drive your own work tasks during business as usual.
